Working from Almudena's final footage, reconstructed the shot through an AI-driven recomposition workflow which translating the alchemical and tarot-derived visual language of the project into a new, transmuted image that echoes its themes of cyclical purification and biological gold-making.
Chrysopoeia Vulgaris explores microalgae through the lens of contemporary alchemy, investigating how wastewater treatment and microplastic remediation can be transformed into a circular bioplastic system. Its tarot-inspired visual world frames this ecological process through symbols of purification, transmutation, and cyclical renewal, connecting biological remediation with mystical and alchemical imagery.
